The Blind King played at the Milky Way in Jamaica Plain last night with Tiger Saw and Cowgirl Hangover.

Note to self: The Milky Way treated us great. It's awesome to go play a club that feeds you a nice pizza and a couple UFO's and you don't catch a disease leaning on the bar. It looked great, too - awesome place to have a party or throw a gig. Very shiny and sparkly and retro, plus pool and candlepin bowling for the kids who hate your music. Apparently they had just polished all the mirrors and bottles and glasses right before we got there.

Tiger Saw had some technical issues with an amp crapping out (loudly), and the soundman running up on stage a couple times was distracting. Their music was very nice and they were nice people.

Cowgirl Hangover sounded great as a straight-up 4-piece. Elana's got such a great voice and presence.
